The Highest Standard: A Collection in Honor of Seiki "Stan" Hirota

Updated: Oct 29, 2020

Seiki "Stan" Hirota (February 17, 1966 - August 26, 2020)

My dear friend Seiki "Stan" Hirota was president of UHS Partners, Inc. and chairman of the board for The Delta Companies and Accountable Healthcare. He was the most accomplished person I knew, yet he remained driven to achieve so much more than he already had in his professional and personal life. Despite his boast-worthy resume, he was incredibly humble. He was quick to offer his help to those who needed it, and he never turned down an opportunity to make an impact. He gave the best advice on leadership, goal setting, and just living life to the fullest. Sadly, he passed away in August 2020.

Stan exemplified the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and compassion. He was a shining example of what it means to be a great leader and a great person.

Some days I wake up thinking about my friend. I miss his advice and the way he would help me tackle any challenge. To be honest, I'm nervous about no longer having his perspective in my life on a day-to-day basis. To help encourage me and others, I've collected articles that Stan published online over the years. I'll be sharing them here.

I miss you every day, Stan! You may be gone, but your wisdom lives on.
